Where will OkSOBERfest take place?
OkSOBERfest is an alcohol free event hosted by UNK’s Peer Health Education Office, a part of Counseling & Health Care. It will be held on October 27, from 7-11pm in the Nebraskan Student Union Ponderosa Rooms A-E.
Will food be served and what kind?
Root beer provided in Kegs from Thunderhead Brewery is our beverage of choice while finger foods and ice cream will be provided by Chartwells.
Is it FREE for students?
This free event is open to all UNK & UNMC students and in the past many students have taken advantage of the free food and entertainment as we’ve average over 350 students over the last four years.

*Trike Chase: Strap on beer googles, hop on a trike, and race through the obstacle course before Campus Police catch you on their trike.
Tootsie Pop Challenge: How many licks does it take to get to the center? Race your friends and win a sweet movie basket.
Sumo Wrestling: Be phat and get fat. Wrestle your friends in sumo suits.
